Stucco Repair Done Right, Built to Blend In

Crack repair, hole patching, water damage restoration and texture matching. Repairs that blend into the wall.

Stucco repair is most of what we do, and it's where the difference between a real stucco contractor and a handyman patch shows up immediately. A proper repair fixes the cause, rebuilds the damaged material in compatible layers, and matches the surrounding texture so closely it's genuinely hard to find afterward.

We repair cracks of every kind, holes from removed fixtures and impacts, walls opened up during window and door replacements, damaged corners and edges, and stucco that's been compromised by moisture. Every repair starts with figuring out why it failed, because patching over an active problem just buys it time to come back bigger.

When a wall is telling you it needs repair

  • Cracks wider than a credit card edge, or hairlines that keep multiplying
  • Bubbling, peeling or blistering paint over the stucco
  • Bulging or loose areas, or spots that sound hollow when tapped
  • Stains, discoloration or chalky streaks spreading on the surface
  • Stucco falling off in pieces, flaking, or crumbling at edges and corners
Stucco Repair by Simon Stucco Services in South Florida
South Florida note: South Florida stucco lives a hard life: brutal UV, daily summer soakings, and months of storm season rain driven by wind. Repairs here have to be watertight first and pretty second. Ours are both.

How We Handle Stucco Repair

Diagnose

We inspect the damage and find the cause, whether movement, moisture, impact or age, so the repair solves the problem instead of hiding it.

Remove & prep

All loose and damaged material comes out. Edges are cut clean and the substrate is prepared for a real mechanical bond.

Rebuild in layers

Base and finish coats go on in proper thickness with proper cure time, the way stucco is supposed to be built.

Match & blend

We replicate your texture and feather the edges so the repaired area blends into the wall.

Common Stucco Repair Questions

How much does stucco repair cost?
Minor crack work typically runs $300 to $800, and larger repairs and water damaged sections $2,000 to $6,000 depending on extent. Every job gets a free written estimate first, so you know the exact number before anything starts.
Will the repair stand out afterward?
You'll have to go looking for it. Texture matching is our specialty. We replicate sand, smooth, lace and custom finishes and feather the edges so the repair reads as part of the wall.
How long does a typical repair take?
Small crack repairs are usually done in 1 to 2 days including cure time between coats. Larger sections run 3 to 5 days. We give you the schedule up front and stick to it.
How long does stucco last in Florida?
Decades, when it's maintained. Plenty of homes we work on carry stucco that's 40, 50, even 60 or more years old. What shortens its life here is deferred maintenance: unsealed cracks and moisture getting behind the wall. Handle those early and the material itself keeps going.
Can damaged stucco be repaired, or does it have to be replaced?
The large majority of damage we see is repairable. Cracks, holes, impact damage and localized water damage can be cut back and rebuilt without touching the rest of the wall. Full replacement only earns its cost when failure is widespread, and we'll tell you plainly which side yours is on.
