Sand Finish: Florida's Classic, Done Evenly
Florida's classic finish — even, fine-textured walls that wear well and hide the years gracefully.
Sand finish is the finish South Florida was built in — a fine, even texture that sheds water well, hides minor imperfections, and ages more gracefully than any other surface in this sun. Most of the homes we work on wear it, and most of the new finishes we apply are some version of it.
The craft in sand finish is consistency: aggregate size, float pressure and timing have to stay uniform across an entire elevation, or the wall reads blotchy every time the sun moves. Ours read as one surface, corner to corner.

How We Handle Sand Finish Stucco
Match the grade
Fine, medium or heavy — we identify or help you choose the sand grade, since grade is most of the look.
Mix for consistency
Aggregate and material are batched consistently so the first wall and the last wall finish identical.
Float uniformly
Even pressure and timing across each elevation — the discipline that keeps sand finish from going blotchy.
Blend every edge
Repairs and section joins are feathered so the texture flows uninterrupted around the home.
