Interior Painting With Contractor Grade Prep

Walls, ceilings, trim and doors, painted with the same careful preparation and cleanup our stucco work is known for.

Good interior painting is mostly preparation you never see. Nail holes and dings patched and sanded flat, glossy spots dulled, stains and repairs primed so they don't ghost through, edges cut by hand instead of smeared with tape pulls. That's the work that decides whether a room looks freshly painted or just recently painted.

We repaint bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and hallways, handle full color changes, and paint the ceilings, baseboards, trim and doors that finish a room properly. We work in occupied homes every week, and plenty of our interior projects start as ceiling or wall repairs. Getting a clean, matching coat of paint afterward is what makes the repair truly disappear.

One crew, start to finish: If your project involves wall or ceiling repairs and paint, we handle both. The surface gets fixed, primed and painted on one schedule, by people who answer for the whole result.

How We Handle Interior Painting

Protect & prep

Floors covered, furniture moved or draped, fixtures masked. The room is protected before any paint is opened.

Patch & sand

Holes, dings and imperfections are filled and sanded flat, because paint highlights whatever's underneath it.

Prime where needed

Patches, stains and big color changes get primer so the finish coat covers evenly and stays put.

Paint & clean up

Clean lines, even coverage, a daily tidy up, and a final walkthrough with the room back the way you live in it.

Interior Painting Questions, Answered

How long does interior painting take?
Most single rooms are done in a day or two including prep and drying time; repainting several rooms or a whole interior runs longer depending on ceilings, trim and how much patching the walls need. You get a written schedule up front and we keep to it.
Do walls need to be primed before painting?
Not always. Sound, previously painted walls in a similar color often just need a good coat of paint. Primer earns its keep over patches, stains, glossy surfaces and big color changes, and we spot prime or fully prime wherever the surface calls for it.
Do you paint ceilings, trim and doors too?
Yes: walls, ceilings, baseboards and trim, and interior doors and frames. Crisp lines where wall meets ceiling and wall meets trim are most of what separates a professional repaint from a rushed one.
How do you protect floors and furniture?
Floors are covered, furniture is moved or draped, and fixtures and hardware are masked before any paint is opened. We tidy up at the end of every day and do a full cleanup and walkthrough with you when the job is done.
How much does interior painting cost?
It depends on room count and size, ceiling height, how much patching the walls need, and whether trim, doors and ceilings are included, so we don't quote blind. We look at the actual rooms and give you an exact, written price for free.
